The trading platform eventually revealed four addresses in BTC, ETH, TRX, and XRP that were considered to be under the hacker’s control. It didn’t say how much the stolen crypto was worth although early estimates suggested it was worth roughly 80$ million in the hours leading up to the revelation.
Exchange of cryptocurrencies in Asia Liquid Global has announced that company has been the victim of a cyberattack. The currency trading site stated that some of its warm wallets have been stolen in an early Thursday tweet adding that it is presently investigating the situation.Liquid which operates under a licence from Japan’s Financial Services Agency has alerted customers that deposits and withdrawals have been suspended and that more information will be forthcoming. The exchange also stated that it is transferring cryptocurrency assets to cold wallets.
