The Iranian Ministry of Industries Mining, and Trade imposed a temporary ban on crypto mining earlier this year which will be lifted on Sept 22 according to the English language business daily Financial Tribune. Tavanir the Iran Power Generation Distribution and Transmission Company made the crucial statement.

Mostafa Rajabi Mashhadi a spokeswoman for the state owned utility told ISNA news agency that the expectation is that power usage will decrease by the end of the summer.
