About EZGenerator | Web Hosting Talk

What do you think about EZGenerator?

I used it a few years ago to create a personal website, and it worked quite well for my needs, but I want to know how to find it, considering it's a kind of point-and-click Wizard, and I'm not sure how well the sites created with it are.

Is it efficient enough, or are there better programs for the same task?

Last Firefox Update Issue | Web Hosting Talk

I prefer Google Chrome, not Firefox. Most use Firefox for better privacy, but unless you CIA or something is required.

I can open hundreds of tabs in Chrome even though I'm using a laptop with an i7 processor and 12GB of RAM, and connecting it to an external monitor with an external keyboard and mouse (otherwise I do not like using too many different computers) different data on different machines and it makes my brain feel crowded).

With the current setup, I can use a laptop with a big screen and then, when traveling, take the laptop with me and have the same data. Yes, cloud storage like OneDrive, Google Drive helps. But there is always something on a desktop that is not on the other, and it annoys me. The current setup works well for me.

Anyway, that's a bit inappropriate. My point is; Get a decent laptop (if you do not already have one) and forget about privacy. Use Chrome, and then open any tabs you want.

Do you need to migrate from OpenVZ to KVM? I recommend SmartServerManagement!

Initially, I used SmartServerManagement several years ago when I set up my first OpenVZ 6 VPS node, and Chris E and others helped me, but as many know, OpenVZ 6 will expire next November. So I've been thinking for a long time whether I should change from OpenVZ 6 to 7 or change to KVM. In short, I chose KVM.

I decided to reuse SmartServerManagement to support the migration from OpenVZ 6 to KVM because it was quite complicated as two servers were connected to the same subnet. However, since they know RapidSwitch servers very well, I knew they could handle them, and everything went fine, and now the VMs were rebuilt on KVM without having to change the IPs for clients, and so the migration went very well smoothly.

If you need to migrate your OpenVZ nodes to KVM, they can handle it! 10/10 from me at @PCS Jason and the SmartServerManagement team.

All the best,
Chris

Suggestions from resellers? | Web Hosting Talk

I've been a reseller on a friend server for a long time and they shut it down so I need to find a new home for some personal domains.

What I use:
9 domains will probably never go beyond 12 at the moment
10 GB of memory
10-15 GB bandwidth per month

I do not need a lot of bells and whistles like WHMCS, SSL, etc
It is mainly used for websites for private and family businesses.

Any good recommendations for a stable host for a reasonable price (about $ 15 per month)?

I looked at Mechanicweb and Boomhost, but since 2007 I have not really been looking for hosting. So I'm a bit overwhelmed with what to look for, and I'm not sure I'm missing any pitfalls

SharePoint Online column formatting does not read my child array in the JSON object

I can get the formatting to render the background and font style for the column text, but not the children in the child. I played around with it for days. I need to use styling elements as opposed to MS classes, as this is required for proper representation in a List View Web Part. Does anyone know why this is skipped? Any help is greatly appreciated!

How do I add a database in the Distributed Availability group?

When I ran, I was downstairs:
The database & # 39; ABCD & # 39; can the availability group & # 39; PrimaryAG & # 39; not added or removed. This operation is not supported on the primary replica of the availability group.

bitcoin core – Why does getheaders' P2P API return more than getblocks?

I read the documentation for the Bitcoin P2P protocol and experimented with the Bitcore library, but was confused in one respect.

So Getblocks seems to return inventory objects that are just pointers so you need to create another one receive data Please use these inventories to get the current block.

And getHeaders seems to return headers from starts to stop,

They behave similarly, except that getHeaders returns more than just the hands. I am confused here because I feel like it getHeaders should be the "light mode" that downloads in comparison to only small amounts of data Getblocks, This also shows the fact that getHeaders download up to 2000 headlines by default Getblocks Downloads up to 500 inventories.

Do I understand this all wrong? Why does getHeaders returns more information than Getblocks AND also more results than Getblocks (2000 against 500)?
