Air travel – baby belt was not provided at the start – is it worth complaining?

The AirFrance crew forgot yesterday on the Air France flight from Paris to Montreal
provide the baby seat belt before starting.

Also, there was no cabin check in our segment before the start, so we did not have a chance to ask for one.

I was still working on my laptop when the plane began to move and the electronic phone call to the crew was answered after picking up.
The crew apologized and immediately gave us the seatbelt for the rest of the flight

This is a security flaw that could have led to a tragedy.

Can I do anything about it?
What can I hope to achieve?
