Are Java classes the same as C classes?
Not really. (And C has no classes, but C ++).
Java classes are more like C ++ than those in CSS: modules that define a new type and its fields and methods. Java is also heavily class-based everything Variables, methods and types can exist just as defined in one class or another; Other languages include classes as an optional construct for grouping related fields, defining a shape for creating multiple objects with a common shape or behavior, and so on.
Compared to that, CSS classes are actually just a classification tool: "This paragraph is a quote, this a footnote, etc.". Classes in programming languages have this aspect, but do much more. Depending on the language, they can only do a little more or literally everything.
