Question Safe and best way to move apps to External SD card?
I Have 3-5. Androids mobiles Devices with my family and as all mobiles have different Android versions and different RAM as described below
|Versin||RAM||SD||to SD||To int|
Now major problem is space for user apps files working space
Now problem is that in 8gb models I get 2.2 GB space to install my user apps and pics videos and in 16GB I get only 5.1 GB and now a days data photo pics cache and internal memory gets full daily.
Now I want to install 100-200 apps for different professional use but hardly those many apps will be silent and maybe used once in year or 6 month but may be needed at urgency at any time and may not get time to install or configure it.
I searched many following ways and founded many ways and tried all but some are.locked and with no result and risk which option is safest best for all of my android mobile devices which is harmless and safe for both Android 5.0,5.1,5.1.1,6.01 versions
Following Ways founded to create space or add more memory space ram for apps files videos to Android mobiles
- Move individual user apps to External SD card
Pros: Only partly apps files moved
Cons: data cache documents remain Still data cache increases and fulls Internal RAM
- Format SD card as internal
Pros: automatically install apps in SD and all files data cache.
Cons: only selected non system apps installed in as and rest still installs in internal memory.
A. Files apps crashes when SD card get frequently used and booting time it’s just gets slow
B.As memory card stucks and cannot be changed and can never be removed
C. only few apps moved install to SD not all installs
- Changing Default preferred location of install apps to SD
Pros: sounds good like all file will automatically install in SD
Cons: Not effective don’t know if it works as nothing happens either locked by Company or just some.problem in settings. Secondly in Android 6.1.1 no such option exists as it only formats and make SD INTERNAL
- Force Apps to install in External SD card
Pros: sounds good like all file will force automatically install in SD
Cons: Not effective don’t know if it works as nothing happens either locked by Company or just some.problem in settings. Secondly in Android 5.1 and 6.1.1 no such option exists as it only formats and make SD INTERNAL.
- Rooting mobile and Using App2SD or LINK2SD apps
Pros: tried once with linked and it was fast in linking moving auto automatically to SD
A. Rooting mobile seems risky as all system files opens and jumbles up and feels high risk till unrooted
B. Can we unroot after moving apps
C. Files apps crashes when SD card get frequently used and it takes huge time at booting and many time apps stuck to open
D. As memory card gets stuck and can’t be changed and can never be removed
E. As non pro version of appears and linked only moves partly apps files not cache and data files
Now my queries questions:-
Which of the way is safest and good for moving and creating space in Android 5.1.1 6.0.1 mobiles?
Is there any other way out with limited risk or limitations?
As in Android 6.1.1 there is option to format external card to internal and option to move app to internal formatted card to is it good way to should I go to root and link2sd or app2sd on it? Or formating SD card as internal is in itself.
If formatting SD AS INTERNAL IS GOOD then will it move all data cache to add or its in internal. What u recommend cache and data to be in internal is good as it’s frequently used .
As I have seen many commands googling (as in Windows changing default location for my documents briefcase program files) is it possible through programming to change Android or app to change default location of.data files for.all apps or download folder location to external
Is there any programming command or way to make default install location of apps to external SD card
Is it good to partition as card and save apps on first or second partion. As app2sd and link2sd saves links apps and recommend in 2nd ext4 partion
Is there way to take backup of SD or stock from frequently through app like droid and save in cloud or 3rd portion of SD card
Is it possible in Android to install or create program or run standalone apps (as in Windows apps software’s runs without installing) on USB stick or create a live android USB OS with 500-1000 apps if yes how share links.
