Can I Legally Modify the Unity Splash to Fit the Game’s Theme?

I’ve been working on a retro game, and I was wondering whether I could change the Unity logo to make it fit the game’s style (eg. pixelating the logo). I know how to do this, but my question is whether it is illegal. Thank you in advance.
