I hope this is the right site for my question. If not, please forgive me.
In the early 2000s I was gifted a very warm and thick Schott synthetic jacket (not leather) that served me very well during my travels. It has 4 outer front pockets, one sleeve pocket, and 3 internal pockets, which made it incredibly practical; they are all zip pockets. It is also equipped with a removable down gilet.
Being this garment old and battered, I have been trying to find a replacement for it for years, unsuccessfully. The brand doesn’t make this garment anymore, and apparently jackets with many pockets have become out of fashion. To me, inner pockets with zip are a must while traveling, for security against pickpockets.
Do you have a suggestion for a warm winter jacket featuring a decent number of inner and outer pockets, good for traveling?
