Design process – How to manage the change of language / terminology Scalable for documentation (internal communication)

As a UX designer, we change and create words for things in the UI. Sometimes these are labels, sometimes error messages etc.

I've found it very hard to maintain documentation – say confluence with the right conditions. I'd be happy to include a token in the documentation that would change a specific term in bulk – but I have none I know how this could be done.

This also applies to the user interface itself – how did you change the words massively efficiently?
