partitioning – fix hard disks on Linux after encripted LVM installation

I installed Ubuntu MATE on one of my machines and during installation I chose LVM and encryption. It became a bit annoying because on every boot up it would ask for encryption password and that prevented me from rebooting over ssh. Think I made it encrypt everything (/). I decided to do another OS install without encryption this time but to my surprise it couldn’t finish. The way my disks were now set up (LV) was preventing it from finishing. I looked it up and found out about lvdisplay and lvremove. Tried to remove the volumes but now things look weird. I don’t recognize most of those drives.

What I’d like to do is to reset/wipe those disks so they don’t have any partitions and are empty so I can start fresh. I would also like to remove

/dev/mapper/isw_dfgbjfbfbc_Volume0

so it’s just

/dev/sda

and there is no ‘loop’ partitions. Whatever method I try it doesn’t seem to be working though. Gparted reports unrecognized disk labels and when I try to add partition to unallocated space it says can’t have a partition outside the disk. Any ideas how I can fix it or have I damaged my disk beyond repair?
