permissions – Backup files using rsync / cron not showing in GUI file manager

I am new here, after 30 years with Windows. One of the primary tasks – Backup!
Until this topic is not done and working, I will not attempt going further.

Working on an Intel-NUC i7 dual boot with Windows 10 for now.

I used rsync / crone terminal mode and created the following job:

00 20 * * 0 rsync -aR /home/alex/alexfolders /media/New-SD-512/sun/
00 20 * * 1 rsync -aR /home/alex/alexfolders /media/New-SD-512/mon/
00 20 * * 2 rsync -aR /home/alex/alexfolders /media/New-SD-512/tue/
00 20 * * 3 rsync -aR /home/alex/alexfolders /media/New-SD-512/wed/
00 20 * * 4 rsync -aR /home/alex/alexfolders /media/New-SD-512/thu/
00 20 * * 5 rsync -aR /home/alex/alexfolders /media/New-SD-512/fri/
00 20 * * 6 rsync -aR /home/alex/alexfolders /media/New-SD-512/sat/

In the “alexfolders” there are 10 folders of my own work.
When I check in the GUI File Manager, and with PCManFM – the target folder (an SD card) sun, mon etc… are showing EMPTY.

When I check through Terminal, the backup folders and files are there, I get the following:

alex@alex-nuc8i7hnk:~$ ls -l /media/New-SD-512/sun/alexfolders
total 84

So, what am I doing wrong? Or – what can I do to see that in a GUI File Manager

Thank you
Alex
