I’m implementing this feature into a pet project and it has gotten me stumped.
In a 2D world, I need to calculate the velocity (in vector form) in a way that it will turn towards the target. This will be calculated every frame.
What we have:
- delta time
- x/y missile Position
- x/y target position
- current velocity of the missile (in vector form)
- maximum rotational speed (in radians per sec)
I’m looking at formulas but I cannot seem to figure out one that would work
