I have lists using lookup columns a lot. However in one case the list which is “looked up” from another has many entries. Hence it is tedious to navigate to the options presented in the drop-down list. However in the new list experience users can start to type and the available options will be centered around the best match.
But I want to filter the results in the lookup column, because there are criteria. I found out that Infopath offers this posibility. Unfortunately I have used managed metadata columns as well, which can’t be used in forms edited with Infopath.
Now I’m trying to implement something with PowerApps, but I have absolutely no clue how to do any filtering operation there. Is this even possible?
