server – Mounting Drive error – unknown filesystem type ‘LVM2_member’

I have two raid arrays.

  1. sda ~6TB

  2. sdb ~10TB

I have installed ubuntu 20 server on sda array.

I am trying to mount sda3 to /mnt/ssdarray but I am getting the ‘LVM2 member error’
I’m getting the following outputs from necessary commands to sort this out

  >sudo pvscan
  PV /dev/sda3 VG ubuntu-vg lvm2 (<5.46 TiB / 5.26 TiB free)

I would like to get access to the entire ~6TB but it is only giving me 200GB and doesn’t seem to show sda3 as an option to mount?

I have tried

sudo mount /dev/ubuntu-vg/ubuntu-lv /mnt/ssd

sudo vgchange -ay /dev/ubuntu-vg
1 logical volume(s) in volume group "ubuntu-vg" now active

but no success.

Any help would be much appreciated. Stay safe!
