Looking at Trello’s documentation, they say that they use websockets (socket.io) for update communication, but watching the updates I can only see the web page doing a post, but don’t see how it know that there is an update to request? There doesn’t seem to be a persistent socket connection? We are looking to do something similar, as we have web clients which make changes and we want all connected clients to get the updates, but don’t see how Trello manages to do it, without a websocket showing.
