This question seems to be asked a lot, but so far no solutions have worked for me. I’ve tried following https://zambrovski.medium.com/using-bluetooth-headset-on-ubuntu-790ce6eecc2 but after following the steps the same issues were seen. I’ve also followed many answers on this website to no avail.

What happens after changing to hsp/hfp (note that the mic bar freezes and the ‘volume’ shows the muted mic icon):
I don’t think it’s an issue with my headset but I haven’t ruled it out.
Any help or additional questions would be very great. I’ve been struggling with this for a while.
