Brittany Andy Murray plans to retire after this year's Wimbledon, but fears that the Australian Open may be the final of his career next week.
The three-time Grand Slam champion, avant-garde athlete, who has recovered heavily after a hip replacement, broke down on Friday at a press conference in Melbourne.
"I'm not sure I can go through the pain for another four or five months," said the 31-year-old Scot.
"I want to go to Wimbledon and stop, but I'm not sure I can do that."
