Amazon Web Services – makes cloud-based applications faster and more available all over the world

I've been working on cloud-based applications. These applications include a web-based portal for merchants through which they place new orders and REST APIs that they can integrate into their platforms.

These applications are currently hosted in the AWS Cloud in the Singapore region.

However, some of our clients (based in Thailand and Vietnam) have complaints that they sometimes think that our application is slow.

Recently, one of our Chinese customers reported that he was unable to access our APIs or access our web-based applications.

How can I optimize an existing cloud-based application to make it faster and more accessible to customers around the world?

Our solution is to deploy applications in different regions and provide different endpoints to different customers.

Suggestions are appreciated.

amazon web services – Why is not the year in this ISO timestamp 2019?

For a simple app that tests a Devops pipeline, I'll give you the start time of a build on the homepage. My development computer prints the year of the expected 2019 ISO-8601 timestamp (specifically, "2019-09-12T20: 11: 00.000Z"). If the same code base is created with AWS CodeBuild, the ISO-8601 timestamp looks like this: "+ 051668-02-09T08: 09: 32.000Z". What is "+051668"? I assume it's the year. I suspect it's the year presented as another calendar. Thoughts?

AWS CodeBuild sets this environment variable for each build (CODEBUILD_START_TIME). I'm building with their latest standard Ubuntu container (v2.0).

amazon web services – How do I find the aws policy attachment ID for Terraform import?

I want to import an existing resource into my status file.

One of them is a guideline supplement.

Because the attachment in the state file is missing when I'm running terraform plan I will see this issue:

If I want to import it, I need to find out the ID of the attachment:

I can not find it on the console though:

And I have problems with the aws cli,

amazon web services – Replay Cloudwatch logs are sent to a lambda

I subscribed to a lambda for many Cloudwatch protocol groups to process, index, and analyze these logs.

Everything works fine, but I want to play a large amount of old logs with this lambda.
I try it by retrieving logs about the aws logs get-log-events CLI, but I can not find an easy way to do this because the data is structured.

First, the lambda is called with a coded / gzip blob in a Json {"awslogs": {"data": "H4sIAAAAAAA .... I can do it easily, but it's expected that the blob itself is structured like this:

I could try to rebuild it myself, but it gets boring. And some fields are missing (eg logEvents.id)

Do I miss another easier way to render logs on my Lambda?

amazon web services – Can not connect to HTTPS on ec2 after setting up Load Balancer

  1. I have an EC2 instance running Amazon Linux running an Apache web server.

  2. I have issued an ACM SSL certificate. (I would like to use it for a subdomain, so I set it up with * .mydomain.com and it was issued.)

  3. I have set up an application load balancer with listeners on the port 80 and 443 to open. I have attached the SSL certificate.

  4. I've set up my audience that includes my EC2 instance. I have set up forwarding on the port 80 according to AWS documentation.

In my opinion, all I have to do is refer to my domain, which is hosted on my load balancer via GoDaddy. I found a tutorial that was about one A Record on Alias and add the DNS Namefor my load balancer as value, When I do that, it tells me that I can not have that A because I already have a setup, but that's for my subdomain. I do that via Route 53.

If I give that A record another name; for example, lb.test.example.com There is no connection to HTTP in the domain test.example.com, If I type lb.test.example.comI get the browser winged that the page is not secure and then one Bad Gateway Error.

What do I miss here?

amazon web services – Block all outgoing traffic except the API response – AWS Security Groups

I have a web app (App 1) and set up an API endpoint. I will send a request from App 2 to this endpoint. App 1 and App 2 are in the same VPC.

I want App 1 to NOT allow outbound traffic except for an API response on App 2.

Suppose this is the code for the App 1 endpoint

My security group would allow the value to be returned to App 2, but would block email delivery because it is data that escaped the app.
