architecture – Where is this building in Amsterdam with a façade looking like a bookshelf?

Well, tineye.com got a few hits, but nothing to solve the problem.

However, Google Image Search using your photo as the search parameter was more helpful.

One of the many hits was to a blog called The Sticky Egg, specifically the post from November 13, 2011 called “Feeling Bookish”, which includes an address:

De Batavier in Lootstraat [sic], Amsterdam.

Then hunting around Google Street View, it seems to be 37 Lootsstraat.

How can I drive from Amsterdam to Paris?

This answer is worked out from several comments on the question (which can often be found in every request to get cheap somewhere).

To go biking.
The distance from Amsterdam to Paris is approximately 500 km on the main roads. However, since you need a good route for cycling, you can add a few kilometers. So let's say it's about 600 km, about 375 miles.
For those who are experienced cyclists and know how much they can do in a day, it is easy to find out how long it will take you. It is relatively flat and less if you go further south.
Google Maps gives an altitude of 140 meters.
You will almost reach the level at times, but it is not nearly as high as you have to do in high hills or mountains.
You will find one thing: there will be winds that often blow from the south and can be strong at any time of the year.

For those with less experience and traveling 60 km a day, it takes 10 days to get to Paris. This is a route that almost anyone with some cycling experience can do. Real new cyclists may have to travel further. On a suitable bike with wind from behind, days of 100 km are quite possible.
If you are cycling outside of the main holiday season, you do not need to make reservations and can adjust your daily distances to suit your feelings. And you're near railroad lines where you can take the train on your bike if it turns out you don't like the experience.

Now for the cost. If you happen to own a bicycle in the Netherlands, it only costs the nights and food that you would normally spend on vacation.
If you don't happen to have such a bike, but you have a few weeks (and / or friends on site) to find a used bike, you can often find one for relatively little money. (I've seen patterns from around € 25 for bikes that are good enough to undertake such a trip, but it will take time to find such a deal. Don't expect a good cheap bike in a day or two to find.)
Renting a bike is also an option if you want to return to Amsterdam. You can return by train without a reservation, but you have to change trains a few times. (I don't think the express trains take many, if any, bicycles.)
As far as I know, there are no one-way rentals for this distance. There are organized tours that get you (and your bike) back to the start, but they're more expensive and less free to choose your own route. Some of these tours offer you a bike to use. It's not the best bike you've ever used, but it might appeal to some people.

There are many long-distance cycling routes, this page has many Europe-wide as well as links to national organizations that will have even more routes. If you search on "long distance cycling routes" you will find many more (as well as the organized hotel and bike tours).

Walking / hiking.
There are many long-distance routes that often combine several from Amsterdam to Paris.
It's still about 500/600 km, 310 to 375 miles or so much more than the less direct, but nicer trails can take. This is quite a lot to do for most people in a short amount of time. However, if you have experience, you know your daily distance and the altitude is still the same as for cyclists, 140 meters or about 460 feet.
Get a good guide to the long-distance route (s) you want to use so you can find information on where to sleep near your route. (Hotel searches work, but you may need to find places that are not on these websites if you are in an area with few hotels.)

As for long-distance cycling routes, there are websites for long-distance hiking trails. Wikipedia has some for international and national long distance calls in the target area (and far beyond). Again, a search such as long distance hikes and a country or route will give you more information. The long-distance hiking trails on these Wikipedia pages often contain brochures for the route and additional information. But the information is increasingly being found online or instead.

General information.
Unlike buses (or public transportation) that travel by bike or on your own, you can see the country you're traveling through, visit the places you stay, and maybe even a stop or two at tourist Place locations if you wish to leave your (bike and) equipment unattended or stay close enough to do it on foot or by bike without any equipment.

Camping works for both cycling and hiking, but increases the transport load and the preparations and the (air) luggage that you have to bring. Hotels, hostels, B & Bs, Airbnb and even warm showers (accommodation for cyclists) and equally for walkers are easier since you usually only need your sleeping bag.
Many people will combine the better parts of the route with public transport for the rest, which will likely be much more expensive than the cheapest long-distance routes for the entire Amsterdam / Paris route.

While this is a cheap way of traveling, people often spend more on accommodation and food, and it will certainly take a lot more time, several days or even weeks, if they hike and do not travel extreme distances every day. It's actually not a way to get to places, but a way to spend your time and get somewhere almost later.

Public transport – when should the direct Eurostar trains start from Amsterdam to London?

If I check the train times on Bahn.de and on the Eurostar website, I get a different set of train times for the same day.

The difference is that Bahn.de gives "non-stop" Amsterdam to London times where Eurostar "change at Brussels" gives times.

If I only wanted to go to London, I would book an option later in the day and take the change in Brussels. But since I want to continue traveling in England, a good option from an early direct flight from Amsterdam seems to be a good connection. However, this will not work if I have to go to Brussels to catch the Eurostar train.

I've checked a previous question about the opposite direction of travel, but neither this question nor the link to the man in 61st place the answer I'm looking for.
When do the direct trains from Amsterdam to London leave?

uk – Bombay to San Francisco via Amsterdam and London

My flight is from BOM to SFO and has 2 stopovers, first 1 hour 10 minutes in Amsterdam (Schengen state) and second in London Heathrow (non-Schengen state).

My question is, do I need a transit visa for Amsterdam or London?

I have a valid US visa and my final destination is a US city.

I could find questions that were both Schengen states, not a Schengen state and a non-Schengen state.

Ps. I am an Indian citizen
