How to indicate draft status in a CMS

I am using a content management system (CMS) to add, edit, and publish pages.

Question: If I create a page or make changes to an existing page, and save as a draft without publishing, then return to that page, how can I indicate that the page is a draft, or already live/published?

One obvious indicator would be if a Discard button exists – it means that it’s a draft – but I am looking for an additional indicator. I don’t know how it should look, or where to put it.

It would be great if answers could fit the below design.

Also if you have any additional remarks or corrections about UI/UX, please comment.

cms – How to indicate draft status

I have CMS (content management system) where I can add new or edit existing pages with some content in it and then publish.

Question: If I create page or made changes on existing page and leave it (saved to draft) without publishing and then returned to that page how to indicate if this page is draft or already live/published version.

One obvious indicator is if discard button exists it means that it’s draft but I want some additional indicator, I don’t know how it should look like or where to put it.

I have existing UI and will be great if answers fit to design.

Also if you have any additional remarks or corrections about UI/UX please comment.

cms – Database ID auto Increment

I’m building a CMS Admin Panel to show Data.
I’m considering the ID column.

Which one is more compatible for user?

The Pretty Auto Increment

Neat Number but hardly refer the ID for searching

# name data
1 Billy Test
2 Jason Test
3 Sarah Test
4 Andre Test

OR

The Database Auto Increment

Messy Number, but easily can refer the ID for searching

# name data
11 Billy Test
15 Jason Test
19 Sarah Test
24 Andre Test

Usually Developer will show the ID cols as pretty auto increment or database’s not so neat auto increment?

Or having other win win situation method?

cms block – HTML Map Tag in Category Description Not working

Summary: I have a graphic map on the top of my Categories to show the relative location of some reefs. I am trying to allow the user to select a reef (product) by clicking on the red X on the map. I wrote some test code for two spots, placed it in the Category Description and pressed Save. When I open my website, it displays the map OK but the mouse flyover (label) and links (href) do not work. Presently coded at https://reefsnwrecks.com/manatee.html

I have created the HTML code as follows:

enter image description here

Copied and pasted into the Category Description field and hit Save.

When the page returns after the save, the display returns to the WYSIWUG mode, the map is shown and the mouse flyover labels work. (See yellow highlighting below:)

When I go to the website it properly displays the map and products but the flyover labels and href links do not work.

When I try the html code by itself in a browser it works fine. Below is the inspect screenshot of the webpage:enter image description here

What I have tried:

  1. I am using Magento revision 2.3.4
  2. I have cleared the cache and verified changes are reflected in website.
  3. I have tried the code by itself with a local copy of the map picture file in a browser and it works fine. Flyover and link to page.
  4. I have tried accessing the website using multiple web browsers, Edge, IE and Chrome.
  5. I have researched HTML5 documentation and believe all the lines of code are compliant.
  6. I changed the map Name, no white space, just in case there is another similar named map.
  7. I have verified the two href links are correct

Is there anything I need to do?
Does Magento support the Map HTML function?
Is this a bug in Magento?
Any suggestions?
