powershell – Set-SPOSite not working for Group enabled SharePoint Online sites

I’m executing the below script to disable one of the document sharing options:

set-sposite -Identity “https://tenant.sharepoint.com/sites/useraccessmanagement” -DisableCompanyWideSharingLinks Disabled

This script is displaying the below error for all Group enabled SharePoint Online sites but for other sites, it is working as expected.

dg.differential geometry – Proofs where higher dimension or cardinality actually enabled simpler proof?

There are proofs that become shorter and simpler by going to higher dimension in $mathbb R^n$, or by going to higher cardinality.

Three examples that come to my mind:

(1) In “Proofs from the BOOK”, Aigner and Ziegler give a proof of the 2-dimensional Brouwer Fixed Point Theorem (based on the Lemma of Sperner). The striking feature is that the main proof argument is set up and run in $mathbb R^3$, and this 3-dimensional set-up turns the proof particularly short and simple.

(2) The proof about natural number Goodstein sequences that uses ordinal numbers to bound from above.

(3) The proof of the Finite Ramsey Theorem using the Infinite Ramsey Theorem.

My question, are you aware of other proofs that use such a technique? I would also be interested in such proofs where an object is embedded e.g. in a torus or sphere.

Getting error Cannot enable Hyper V service in Windows 10 , even though i have already enabled it in program&features

Computer Management under Services and Applications / Services at Hyper-V Host Compute and Hyper-V Virtual Machine Management, are also set to ‘enabled’

when i click on docker app to open, I see “linux containers are starting” on right below corner and after like 10 secs I get that error pop up.

blocks – Adding section components with populated fields to a Layout Builder enabled node

I’m working on migrating content from fieldable panels panes in D7 to Layout Builder in D8. So far, I’ve managed to extract the content I need from my D7 database, but I’ve been unable to add that content to layout builder section components. Backing up a bit, I’m currently trying to just add some inline blocks with sample content to a layout builder section in an attempt to determine how to populate the fields, as follows:

    /*
      Add an inline block of 'basic' type to a section
      'basic' blocks only have a field called "body" of type "Text (formatted, long, with summary)"
    */
    $section = new Section('two_column');

    $testcomponent = new SectionComponent($this->uuid->generate(), 'first', (
      'id' => 'inline_block:basic',
      'label' => 'Test component label',
      'label_display' => 'visible',
      'body',(
        'value'=>'Test',
        'format'=>'limited_html_text',
      )
    ));
    $section->appendComponent($testcomponent);

After I run my migration, I end up with a node with a inline block of “basic” type in the “first” region, as expected, but it’s empty aside from the label. Could someone advise me on how to set field values for section components?

domain name system – Bind9 caching DNS server works only when forwarders enabled

So i used bind9 in a small server with multiple NICs in order to setup a cache-only recursive DNS server for my home network.

Unfortunately its not working, meaning DNS queries from the hosts connected to the network return empty. Even if i query within the dns server i still get empty responses.

It only works when i enable forwarding option and adding google’s DNS servers.

I have done this setup many times in the past but this time doesnt want to work and i am not sure why.

Bellow you may find my configs and some log files.

Can you share SharePoint Online content (pages, sites etc) with Mail Enabled Security Groups Synced from On Prem AD?

I have been advising all my users to use mail enabled security groups for permissions and sharing content in SharePoint. I know for permissions, best practice is to use mail enabled security groups in SharePoint groups. And this works for mail enabled security groups that are synced from On Prem AD > AAD (a typical hybrid scenario).

However, I came across a case where a few users were not able to share (using the share button in SPO) to mail enabled security groups. I thought this might be a permissions issue or a bug. I raised this request with Microsoft support after doing some troubleshooting and was told this is the intended design. Mail Enabled security groups do not sync with SPO directory.

What is the recommended method of sharing content content from SharePoint? I was advised to create security groups in AAD which would work.

Thank you

The search icon must be enabled for it to work on mobile devices

Hi,

I have a site (shopperj (.) Com) – password is the domain.

You need to go to the website on your phone and see the small search icon between the shopping cart icon and the logo and make it work. I have been told that there is a javascript conflict that cannot work.

If you can do this, I would be happy to pay via PayPal. Please write me a PM or reply to the thread below to get started.
