❕NEWS – Ponzi scheme promoters being held responsible | Proxies-free

When it comes to ponzi schemes it can be especially hard to hold those that are responsible as they cannot be traced for various reasons such as the use of a vpn when they are creating the website. However, that does not mean that no one can be held responsible. According to a news article, five people are being held to account for the ponzi scheme that was BitConnect where people were scammed of 2 billion dollars. These five people are being held to account for simply promoting the website. Therefore it is important to know the legitimacy of a site before you promote it to avoid legal action being taken against you such as this.

I’m trying to install NVIDIA CUDA drivers on my Dell XPS 15 9560 laptop. Do you know how I can address this error? I attempted installing the missing packages using sudo apt install {package-name} without any success.

legal – If someone becomes unconscious due to a cocktail of prescription medication, would they be held liable for holding up the flight?

I have a friend who has travelled to the U.S, Canada, UK, and Australia a few times. He is prescribed the painkiller oxycodone (Oxycontin) by his GP and an anti-anxiety medication, diazepam (Valium) by his psychiatrist.

He says that he takes it normally but I know that he’s teetering towards addiction as he now takes an added dose for sleep as well. He’s taken these on flights and slept deeply as well as totally forgot his experience. Knowing that he’ll build tolerance to it and have to take larger doses, I imagine there’s a time that will come when hill suffer an overdose particularly as these are both CNS depressants.

If he were to take these on a flight and then become unconscious to the point where the crew couldn’t arouse him from his sleep, would he get charged for disrupting the flight when he lands? I believe that a pilot would have to deviate the plane from its original destination.

equipment recommendation – Looking for a remote that will reliably shoot as if the button is held down

I’m looking for a remote that can handle at least 30′ of range and hold the shutter down long enough to do exposure bracketing. The latter part is what’s really problematic–I have a remote that can fire it at that range, but it won’t hold it for long enough.

I have seen some remotes with truly extreme ranges for wildlife photography but that’s overkill, I haven’t seen anything in between.

dnd 5e – Can a wizard duel wield spellbooks and still use somatics while gaining the spellbooks “held” abilities?

I’m currently using a wizard in 5th edition DnD who has come across two magical spellbooks. Both spellbooks have abilities/effects that may be activated if they are held, as well as functioning as spell foci. In the rules of spellcasting, it states that a free hand is needed for somatic components, but also states the following:

“A spellcaster must have a hand free to access a spell’s material components — or to hold a spellcasting focus — but it can be the same hand that he or she uses to perform somatic components.” (Source: PHB/Spellcasting/Components)

Apparently I can hold both spellbooks and cast normally? What is the interaction here? May I still use both spellbooks to their fullest potential, or do I have to find a system of stowing the books to cast? Sorry for bad formatting.

evaluation – Extract held value from Association

Consider an association which contains a key which must not be prematurely evaluated.

assoc = <| key :> value |>

For example, a value of a((b)) would throw a Part error until symbols a and b are substituted.

We might wish to obtain this value in its unevaluated form, e.g. to display. Simply calling

assoc(key)

will evaluate value (and in that example, throw a Part error).

One trick is to exploit that matched patterns are unevaluated:

assoc /. KeyValuePattern( key :> v_ ) -> Hold(v)

but this seems needlessly hacky for what must be a common operation.
What’s the right way to obtain Hold(value)?

Max sum held over a month

I need help with a formula that needs to calculate the max sum held at one time for each month.
In this example it would be 42 for March. Month is determined by "Held from"

Sum Held from To
10 01/03/2021 10/03/2021
11 05/03/2021 15/03/2021
12 14/03/2021 still holding
13 28/03/2021 10/04/2021
14 29/03/2021 29/03/2021
15 29/03/2021 29/03/2021
15 01/04/2021 still holding

❕NEWS – Binance CEO: 27% of All Dogecoin is Held at One Address | Proxies-free

Well, doge is not my favorite coin, but those statistics look dangerous to me, for investors with small sums of money.

If the 27% decides to sell, it will bring a huge crash to the market.

This means they can control the market with a snap of their finger.

Also, with the large supply that dogecoin has, which in my opinion is partly responsible for it’s low growth rate, if someone decides to sell a large sum of his dogecoin hodlings, it can be disastrous.

unity – How do I activate a game action when a UI button is held?

First, change your event trigger. Right now you have both “Set Down State” and “Set Up State” called from the “Pointer Down” event.

You want to remove “Set Up State” from this event. Add a second event that listens for “Pointer Up” and attach your “Set Up State” to that one instead.

Then you want to change your code to check GetButton() (which returns true if the button is currently held), not GetButtonDown() (which returns true only the first frame that a button is pressed, and false for subsequent hold frames)

Something like this:

void Update()
{
    if (CrossPlatformInputManager.GetButton("E"))
    {
        if (box == null) {
            TryGrab();
        }
    }
    else if (box != null) {
        Drop();
    }
}

void TryGrab() {
    Physics2D.queriesStartInColliders = false;
    RaycastHit2D hit = Physics2D.Raycast(transform.position, Vector2.right * transform.localScale.x, distance, boxMask);

    // Use CompareTag, not .tag ==
    if (hit.collider != null && hit.collider.gameObject.CompareTag("Box"))
    {
        box = hit.collider.gameObject;
        var body = hit.rigidbody;
        var joint = box.GetComponent<FixedJoint2D>();

        joint.connectedBody = GetComponent<Rigidbody2D>();
        joint.enabled = true;
        body.gravityScale = 1;
        body.mass = 1;
    }
}

void Drop() {
    box.GetComponent<FixedJoint2D>().enabled = false;

    var body = box.GetComponent<Rigidbody2D>();
    body.gravityScale = 6;
    body.mass = 6;

    box = null;
}

As an aside, I’d also recommend naming your virtual button “Grab” not “E” – you might one day want to map it to a different control than “E”, or give the player options to remap the control, so hard-coding a specific letter can cause trouble in the future.
