c# – Encrypting Data with interception of SQL instructions generated by Entity Framework

WPF Application, C#, MS SQL Server, Entity Framework 6. I need to encrypt all data from user input, and do it apart from business logic. I’ve come to interception of SQL Queries generated by transferring LINQ expressions to SQL, and changing data from them to encrypted, in order to store only encrypted data. I’d like to know if it even possible, and how… And how to decrypt them back and show user only plaintext. I can’t change this method – i.e. i MUST intercept queries. Yet another thing – i must use methods from System.Security.Cryptography.
I have read https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/ef/ef6/fundamentals/logging-and-interception this article – we use EF version of 4.1, this will not work. I had even checked through source code of EF6 on Github to check if i can override SaveChanges() method

magento 1.9 – interception of every "get" call in the Mage_Catalog_Model_Product model

Is there a standard method (without overriding the model) to catch every "get" call to the object: Mage_Catalog_Model_Product?

I want to make sure that every time getSpecialPrice() or getTaxClassId() Function is called for "grouped" products, my custom logic comes into play.

This would allow me to have custom management of some data for the grouped products, both in the collections and during upload, with a few lines of code, without using the observer: catalog_product_load_after and catalog_product_collection_load_after

ssl interception – display HTTPS content [Using Proxy]

I am a beginner in proxy traffic and am struggling with Charles Proxy here

I'm trying to intercept the traffic (I don't know if that's the right term for it).
I have an HTTPS page and I want to display the data from the content (within the Charles Proxy).
ALL of my https are coming back
I am currently using Firefox and do not set the proxy configurations manually.
I know it may seem like a stupid question, but I couldn't figure out how to solve it.

… I know that it has to do with SSL, but cannot solve this problem myself 🙁

magento2 – Type error when creating the object: Magento Framework Interception Config Config after upgrading to 2.3.2?

After running the update from 2.2.8 to 2.3.2, I get this error when I run a CLI command like upgrade or cache clean:

main.CRITICAL: Type error when creating the object: Magento Framework Interception Config Config, return value from Magento Framework Interception Config CacheManager :: load () must be of type array or null, string is returned () ()

Any idea how to solve that?

Man in the Middle – Why is the HTTP protocol more vulnerable to interception than the BitTorrent protocol?

The difference is that the BitTorrent protocol has a mechanism to check that you have received what you want to receive, while HTTP does not.

HTTP does not have a mechanism to verify that you are actually connected to the server you want to connect to. If circumstances permit, HTTP is theoretically vulnerable to man-in-the-middle attacks. That said, from your side it looks like you're connected to example.com, but in fact you're connected to a third party that intercepts traffic, manipulates network traffic, and just looks like you're using example.com connected. You will then be prompted to download a specific file, but the man (or woman) in the middle will send you a malicious file instead. (Incidentally, properly configured HTTPS, with Sprevents this.)

A file that is transmitted via BitTorrent, however, is first divided into chunks. Each of these chunks is then hashed using SHA-1, i. H. The torrent creator generates a checksum. The hashes are reported to every BitTorrent client prior to download – usually included in a .torrent File. When the file chunks are then downloaded by the client, they are first hashed by the client itself and compared to the previously received hash. Only if the hash match, which means that the block contains exactly the same bytes as the expected block, will it be accepted. It is virtually impossible to make modified chunks that have malicious content but retain their original hash sum.

Since these hashes are shared with you before downloading, presumably from a trusted source, it is more difficult (if not impossible) to manipulate the expected files during transport when received via BitTorrent, compared to an HTTP download.

If your hashes or torrent files are compromised before downloading, validating the checksum provides no security.

dnd 5e – If you can not target a creature with no free path, does that mean the interception will fail unless you already see the target?

The section "A clear path to the destination" on page 205 of the PHB states: "To reach a goal, you must have a clear path so that it is not behind the full coverage."

The saying Scrying contains the following text:
"You can see and hear a particular creature that you have selected and that is at the same level of existence as you are aim must make a clever salvation that depends on how well you know that aim and the kind of physical connection you have to it. Does this mean for RAW that you can not target a creature or a location that you can not already see / is behind the full cover of you? This seems to render the spell completely useless, along with most of the spells that are commonly used for espionage or remote communication.

Personally, as a DM I'm trying to just throw away this whole section, it does not add anything and I doubt it's worth the headache or ruining large parts of the game. But I want to find out the RAW, just so I know what I'm overwriting, if anything. Do I miss anything or is scratching basically useless?

Laptop – Monitor the interception and go static when viewing specific content. Computer is to blame

This issue has long prevented me from viewing Netflix and certain other content. When you play a Netflix video both in the Win10 app and in the browser via Chrome (or VUDU, HULU) on my monitor via HDMI, the screen often produces "popp" sounds and flashes white every few seconds and then directly to a solid static tone for a few seconds before it turns black. If you disconnect the HDMI cable from the computer and plug it in again, it will stop for a while. However, too often (and rarely) this is a nuisance.

I have tried to find it on my laptop which is the problem, or the HDMI / graphics card maybe. The monitor is a 1440p ASUS PB258Q. The laptop has VGA and HDMI ports, no others. When using HDMI, the screen uses the full 1440p and has the problem. When using the VGA the quality drops (1080p), but I did not notice the problem. I was trying to use another older laptop that only has VGA, and he did not have any problems.

The notebook with this edition is now about 5 years old and has a NVIDIA GT750M graphics card.

Is it the graphics card, the HDMI port, not the monitor? Surprisingly, when you play content with Plex, you do not experience any of these issues with these other content providers. Is this something to do with their players or codecs? Fixed a problem or invested in a newer machine?
