views – Show latest content date from group content type

I’ve a group type vendor with following groups:

Each group is associated with content type notes as shown below:

Notes (Content Type):

N1 (Group: V1)
N2 (Group: V1)
N3 (Group: V2)
N4 (Group: V2)
N5 (Group: V3)

I want to create a view where following data should be displayed:

V1
    Latest content update date
V2
    Latest content update date

But I do not want all the contents update date listed. When I use grid layout I can group the content as per associated group but the output contains all the last updated date for all contents. I want to limit the output only to last 2-3 contents.

Example:

Views -> Grid Layout -> Group by group title -> Number of columns per row -> 2

Output:

V1

N1 last update date N2 last update date

V2

N3 last update date N4 last update date

Expected output:

V1

N1 last update date

V2

N3 last update date

mining theory – How to install the latest bfgminer binaries directly from terminal without ‘aptitude’ on a raspberry pi 4 8gb running raspbian?

months ago I found an entry on StackExchange or somewhere else on how to install the latest (!) bfgminer binaries directly from terminal. I can not find the stackexchange post, no matter how deep I search here / on Google.

I do not remember if it was a download directly from luke-jr’s website via terminal or from somewhere else. I only remember that it was done via the terminal and it created an executeable shortcut in the /bin/ and/or /usr/bin/ folder.

Visiting the website from luke-jr triggers my anti virus software telling me the website is infected or hosts infected files. So I can’t visit it directly sadly.

Months ago I tried it out on my old RPi and it worked just fine. But now that I had to switch to a newer RPi I can not find or remember the correct terminal command for installing bfgminer binaries directly.

More details about why I need the binaries:
Compiling prints out LOTS of errors for me.
Using ‘sudo aptitude install bfgminer’ needs “aptitude” installed, so I tried to install it and it returned lots of errors, most of the package files where not downloadable (my Internet connection is fine by the way).

Can you help me out with a terminal command that let’s me successfully install bfgminer on raspbian?
On my old Pi I managed to install it without aptitude and without compiling it first.

Thanks so far!

join – MYSQL: Query the last conversion on chat messages and sort by latest message

I am having issue on query sorting of last convo messages of each users.
Here is my current record on my 2 tables:

enter image description here

enter image description here

I want to achieve below result:

enter image description here

My current query is:

 SELECT `messages`.*, `users`.`username`, `u2`.`username` as `to_username`,
 CASE WHEN to_user_id = 1
    THEN `users`.`username`
    ELSE u2.username
 END as participant
 FROM `messages`
 LEFT JOIN `users` ON `messages`.`from_user_id`=`users`.`id`
 LEFT JOIN `users` as `u2` ON `messages`.`to_user_id`=`u2`.`id`
 INNER JOIN (SELECT max(id) as lastmsgId FROM messages where to_user_id = 1 or from_user_id =1 GROUP BY to_user_id) m2 ON `messages`.`id`=`m2`.`lastmsgId`
 GROUP BY participant
 ORDER BY `messages`.`created_at` DESC

And the result of my query is:
enter image description here

The 4th and 5th message is not sorted properly I am expecting to display the 4th message
instead of 5th message. It displays the older message instead of latest one. I couldn’t find the solution on how will be display the right sorting.

Any help and suggestion is very much appreciated.

How to upgrade from Ubuntu 14.04 (32-bit) to latest Ubuntu Budgie (64-bit)?

Ubuntu 14.04 (32-bit) is installed on my laptop along with Windows 7. I have barely used Ubuntu, but I’m on it now since Windows is troubling me.

I was looking for a Ubuntu flavour that is light-weight, and I found Ubuntu Budgie, which is also pretty sweet looking, hence I opted it.

I’d be highly grateful to you, shall you could give me exact steps on how I can update to the latest version of Ubuntu Budgie (64-bit version.)

Please let me know if I need to update Ubuntu 14.04 as well.

Note:

-When I was trying to update the OS using Software Updater, I would get the error, “Requires installing from untrusted sources.” And I’d have two options, “Settings…” (which leads to the Software Updater) and “Close”.

Related Queries:

-Does all the flavours of Ubuntu require the ‘original’ Ubuntu to be installed, or they are stand-alone operating systems?

-I need an operating system which is ligh-weight and can run most Windows softwares. Is Ubuntu Budgie a good pick or should I go for something else?

microsoft excel – Find latest (date) entry

I am trying to bring back a score associated with a company but I only want the latest entry. If there is no score at all, I want the cell to be blank.

Companies Score Date
A 3.5 2/1/2020
A 4.3 1/16/2019

In this case, if I wanted Company A’s score, I would like it to return the 3.5. If I am looking up Company D, I would like the cell to remain blank.

Thank you so much for any help in advance!!

google sheets – Getting the latest date of something happening (with conditions)

So basically, I’ve got two sheets. One (sheet_1) with every single record in the system (over 11000 rows) and the other one (sheet_2) is querying information from that sheet. The relevant information to know is that sheet_1 has 3 columns of interest to me; name of person, thing he/she did and the date he did it. Now in sheet_2, I’m attempting to create a sort of report about that person, showing all information from sheet_1 that is relevant to that person.

I’ve made sort of a statistics section in sheet_2 which shows the incident type, number of times its happened and when was the last time it did happen. What I cant figure out is how to do the “when was the last time it did happen” column.

My first thought was an if function but that didn’t work since there was no logic there, so ill give you a more clear explanation of what should happen in the cell:

Cell is supposed to first check the type of incident and the name of the person (both in sheet_2) then cross reference that with sheet_1 and get the “maximum or latest date” for that type of incident for that specific person.

python – List when sent as a pamaeter to an object is getting replaced by the latest one in loop

Problem statement: To make a student and a register class to take and print the data…
the code followed by inputs and outputs:

  class Student:
        def __init__(self,i,n,s,su,m):
            self.id=i
            self.name=n
            self.standard=s
            self.subjects=su
            self.marks=m

class Register:
    students=()
    def displayMarks(self):
       for stud in self.students:
            print(str(stud.id))
            print(stud.name)
            print(str(stud.standard))
            print(stud.subjects)
            print(stud.marks)
print("Enter the number of Students followed by number of subjects")
id =0
name=""
standard =0
subjects =("","","")
marks=(0,0,"")
r=Register()
n=int(input())
m=int(input())
for i in range(n):
    id=int(input())
    name=input()
    standard=int(input())
    for j in range(m):
        subjects(j)=input()
    for k in range(m):
        marks(k) = int(input())
    s = Student(id,name,standard,subjects,marks)
    r.students.append(s)
r.displayMarks()

input:

2
2
101
paul
10
eng
math
12
13
102
riley
10
english
maths
10
9

output:

101
paul
10
('english', 'maths', '')
(10, 9, '')
102
riley
10
('english', 'maths', '')
(10, 9, '')

but shouldn’t the output be:

101
paul
10
('eng', 'math', '')
(12, 13, '')
102
riley
10
('english', 'maths', '')
(10, 9, '')

as you can see, the lists, marks and subjects are getting overwritten by the latest one, ie, riley’s.

What is the mistake?
