g Suite Administrator – How do I override Google Calendar's default settings for users to edit and move meetings between our rooms?

There are four meeting rooms in our organization that are currently being resourced through GSuite for Business.

One of these rooms has become a de facto recruitment / interview room. Therefore, I would like to give our recruiting team priority access to this space with the following basic rules:

  • If the room is not booked, every user should be able to book it for an event.
  • If the room is booked for an event, recruiting should be able to edit the event details and move that event to another room.
  • Other users should not be able to move or edit events by default.

We have already determined where the rooms are configured as resources. We've also added recruitment to the calendars of all rooms that have the "Make changes and manage sharing" access enabled. However, as long as they are able to see they are not capable of the events Move an event in another room.

Does anyone have a few thoughts?

Is it possible to automatically connect to scheduled Google Meet Online meetings? (for hands-free operation)

I'm looking for a way to automatically connect to scheduled Google Meetings (or Hangouts) when they're started (to enable simple hands-free calling while driving).

If there is an option to get an "incoming call screen" that allows you to accept or decline the meeting, this is even better

Plugin (or hook into a plugin) to hold virtual meetings with non-site members

I'm looking for a little direction. We're working on a new WordPress site that would have many members. We strive to find an appropriate solution for a part of the site. These members must be allowed to occasionally hold virtual meetings or non-member events. For example, site members would invite potential customers to discuss what the customer is looking for and what the member can offer. We want to determine where a site member sends a link (or invitation code) to non-members. Anyone who receives the link can join. When they click on the link, they enter basic identification information so that other participants in the meeting know who is who. Everyone in the group / meeting (both the host and the participants) can share documents, videos, suggestions, and so on.

Many of the plugins we find require invitees to sign up for the site, but we do not want that. On the contrary, once the link to the event / meeting has expired, we would like the participants to be deleted from the database.

Does anyone know of any plugins that could bring us close to where we need to be with this part? I would highly appreciate it. Many Thanks.

Used WordPress plugins are BuddyPress and MediaPress

8 – How do I prevent anonymous meetings?

I'm working on a website hosted on Acquia, and we use Varnish and Akamai. We do not want to store anonymous sessions in the database as this will break caching. I have made some optimizations and try to track where the sessions are coming from. We use simplesamlphp_auth for admin login with the octad and LoginRadius module from / user / login, so this is not a standard installation of Drupal 8 in terms of logins and sessions.

I try to track where the anonymous sessions are coming from. But I was wondering if there was any way to fix any of these modules to force Drupal 8 to NOT save any anonymous sessions in the database. Is there a catch or an event that could prevent me from saving anonymous sessions?

If so, what are the implications? I suspect lost cookies that may be set by a contrib module.

I see sessions like these:
