magento2 – How to avoid to have many missed and pending cron jobs?

This is happening for two possible reasons:

  • Low server capacity by the number of cron jobs.
  • Not ideal prioritization.

You can solve that by changing the time that Magento takes to schedule the next job, and increasing the Missed if Not Run Within time, in case it’s an essential CRON job you can add it to a separate process, if it’s not essential you can add many minutes to it.

I am thinking about using booming blade with booming blade. I know you can’t make your second attack with booming blade.

Correct. In fact, you can only make one attack as you’re using the “Cast a Spell” action for your Action.

So can I make two rolls(for 1st attack with advantage) than use booming blade, than use sneak attack, after that use cunning action to disengage.

So far so good. As a Rogue, you can use your Bonus Action to disengage.

And if my first attack miss, can I make a second attack with my other shortsword and after that use sneak attack (I won’t use disengage or booming blade in second attack)?

Here is were it gets tricky. Two-weapon fighting has two things working against you:

  1. It uses your Bonus Action to get a second attack. But you used that to Disengage.
  2. It requires that you use Attack for your Action. Since you used “Cast a Spell” as your Action, you cannot use two-weapon fighting.

Unfortunately, your plan will not work.

On June the 18th I catched the 4:44AM train from Cambridge to Stansted, which should have arrived at destination at 5:14AM, well before the scheduled flight departure, 6:45, for Napoli.

However, the train never got at the airport. A few minutes before arriving there, the train was stopped in a tunnel. The crew told us “we will be a bit late; we’ll update you soon”.

But that “soon” came after the arrival time, at around 5:20, where a member of the crew told us “we’ll take you back to the previous station, where there will a taxi waiting for you that will carry you to the airport”.

Unsurprisingly, when we got off the train (and the train had gone, with all the crew), there was no taxi waiting for anybody.

After a while I and I few other passengers which had booked flights taking off in the range 6:30-7:00 realized we had missed the flight, because there was no way we could be at the airport in time anymore.

When it was too late, a bus arranged by the lady at the train station carried us to the airport, when the flight had departed around one hour earlier.

So I had to buy another ticket to fly to Italy. However I could not fly directly to Napoli anymore, so I flew to another city in Italy and had to pay for a few train tickets in Italy to finally get to Napoli.

  • How can I request a refund?
  • Is it possible that the train company refunds all the expense that I incurred? After all, if the train was in time, I wouldn’t spend 1€ more than had paid, whereas the misadventure costed me a total of 100.50€ + 43.99£.

I have a situation where a model is ignored in favour of one behind it. The rear model is returned by EventSystem.current.RaycastAll, and the front model’s IPointerClickHandler callback isn’t triggered if the rear model is present. The rear model does not implement IPointerClickHandler (or pointer up/down handlers, etc). Both these things work on the front model if the rear model isn’t there.

Debugging shows that the Raycast is only returning one result. By comparing behaviour when the rear model is and isn’t present, I can verify that the distance value in the RaycastResult is greater when hitting the rear model than when hitting the front model.

I can “fix” the problem by using the Inspector to disable and re-enable the front model.

Here’s the problem and the “fix” in action:

EventSystem.current.RaycastAll is used to power the tooltips, and IPointerClickHandler is (unsurprisingly) used to get the cube model to react to clicks.

Update: After more investigation, I’ve made limited progress:

  • I’ve fixed the problem when running the game at normal speed by giving both objects a kinematic Rigidbody.
  • However, the problem still occurs when I speed up time. I set Time.timeScale, and increase Time.fixedDeltaTime by the same scale factor as recommended here.
  • I can eliminate the problem by not changing Time.fixedDeltaTime, however I’m reluctant to do so since this has a big impact on framerates at higher speeds (12x being the highest available).

notifications – Missed calls on lock screen iPhone 11 Pro

I don’t mind seeing the missed call notification, but the instant redial feature results in too many unwanted calls — like returning spam and political calls I didn’t want in the first place. I have “Return missed calls” turned off in Settings but some other factor is overriding it. Yes, I’d like to see what missed call the notification is referring to, but I’ll forgo that luxury if it means I instantly return the call.

iphone – How can I tell how long a missed call attempted to ring for?

Sometimes autodialers call many numbers at the same time and direct the person (often a scammer or marketer) on the other end to whoever answers first. For this reason, I sometimes get missed calls where the caller only hangs on for 1-2 rings. When I see this, it’s obvious that I can block that number. But when I view my phone and there are several calls from unknown local numbers in the missed calls list, I cannot find any way to differentiate between legitimate phone calls and the scammer calls. So if you were expecting an important call from an unrecognised number, there’s a good chance you’ll call back some scammers before you get the legitimate caller.

But there’s a high likelihood that those calls that stopped after ~1 – 2 rings were scams and the ones that hung on for ~4+ rings were legitimate. The problem is, without seeing the attempted call in progress (to count the rings), I cannot differentiate the calls based on how many rings they hung on for.

For a missed call, without seeing it and counting, is there any way to tell how long the missed call attempted to call for (e.g. 1 ring, 5 rings, 10 rings etc)?
