rules – Automatically have an email sent to page author 11 months after its published date

Hello I was wondering if anybody could help.

For every page that exists I need a custom email to automatically get sent to the page author 11 months after that page was published. It’s just to act as a reminder to the author that their page is still published incase they have forgot.

I can’t find any info online that outlines exactly what i’m trying to achieve however anything remotely similar I found seems to be using the ‘Rules’ and ‘Scheduler’ modules however i’m really not sure how I can achieve what I need to do using them.

Absolutely any help would be amazing, many thanks in advance.

SharePoint Designer 2013 Workflow can’t be published

I have a SharePoint 2010 workflow that I created using SharePoint Designer 2013. I can’t publish the workflow. I’m getting the error: Errors were found when compiling the workflow. The workflow files were saved but cannot be run. When I click on the Advanced button, I get the following error: “Could not publish the workflow because the workflow configuration file contains errors.” I thought that the list id, task list id and history list ids might be wrong since I created the associated list was created from a template. I made sure that the .xoml.wfconfig.xml ids were all correct. I have googled and no results are pointing me in the right direction on how to resolve this. I have recreated the workflow several times as well as the list and get the same results. Thanks in advance for any troubleshooting tips.

Can we make copy / download published google docs shared by others?

I have a google doc link which looks something like this:

https://docs.google.com/document/d/e/2PACX-1vTka35LEjmhp_0Fa8hUkWJazZSkGG5tO0phXt9lKrFdeh0nbPv-YyVjhsZGgGmdWWXELA9yl-ZXCesU/pub

You can click on above and see how it renders without any menubar.

I am am able to save it as html. Am also able to print it as PDF, but it somewhat screws up the format.

So, can I make copy of such published docs shared by others in my own drive? Or if not copy can I download them as docx (Microsoft word) file or PDF file?

18.04 – How to delete an aptly published snapshot

Using Ubuntu 18.04 and aptly version 1.4.0.

I am attempting to create a focal mirror using aptly, as follows:

aptly mirror create --architectures="amd64" -filter-with-deps -filter="Installed-Size (<=500000)" focal http://uk.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu focal main restricted universe multiverse
aptly mirror update focal
aptly snapshot create focal-latest from mirror focal
aptly publish snapshot --skip-signing focal-latest filesystem:export:export

This seemed to work OK — but I made a small mistake and want to delete the published snapshot and redo it.

How does one do this please? The command line help shows this:

Usage: aptly publish drop <distribution> ((<endpoint>:prefix)

I presume <distribution> is what aptly publish snapshot refers to as <name> but I have been unsuccessful divining the correct format to use. I have tried dozens of combinations, but here are a few, and the results:

$ aptly publish drop focal-latest
ERROR: unable to remove: published repo with storage:prefix/distribution ./focal-latest not found
$ aptly publish drop focal-latest filesystem:export:export
ERROR: unable to remove: published repo with storage:prefix/distribution filesystem:export:export/focal-latest not found
$ aptly publish drop focal-latest filesystem:export
ERROR: unable to remove: published repo with storage:prefix/distribution filesystem:export/focal-latest not found

hooks – I would like to send an email whenever something is published in the website (posts, pages, custom post types)

The code below works perfectly

When I create a new post, an email is sent out to the email included in the function.

I would like to know how I can send an email when anything is published on the website, like custom post types, pages and regular posts

function notifyauthor($post_id) {

$post = get_post($post_id);
$author = get_userdata($post->post_author);
$subject = "Post Published: ".$post->post_title."";

$message = "
      Hi ".$author->display_name.",

      Your post, "".$post->post_title."" has just been published.

      View post: ".get_permalink( $post_id )."

      Thanks"
      ;

   wp_mail("myemail@abcd.com", $subject, $message);
}
add_action('publish_post', 'notifyauthor');
