Reporting Services – The SSRS 2016 native mode can not connect to the SharePoint list data source

I'm sure this is a very basic question, so I apologize, but I've read many articles and done a lot of Google searches and found no clues to the particular challenge I want to address. I appreciate any guidance that can be provided.

I have a corporate environment where multiple instances of a COTS application must be geographically distributed around the world. These applications use SQL Server Enterprise Editions 2008, 2012 and 2014 (different versions of the COTS software) and must remain in their geographic isolation. I've created an SSRS server to give customers access to their specific geographically isolated COTS database data. However, demand has increased as users set up a data warehouse for SSRS data so we do not risk compromising our production systems. In addition, my team wants to be able to aggregate the data for some company reports.
I've read some information about data warehousing, but I can not seem to find a solution to transfer 14 different instances of a single COTS application to a single SQL server for reporting. Ideally, we would like to track the changes as well. The 3 databases per COTS instance are all named the same regardless of the version. Two of the databases are relatively static (possibly 200 updates per day), but one is very active (over 70,000 writes per day). The solution does not have to be in real time, but to provide at least a daily load.

Database 1 ~ 600 MB and 200 writes per day

Database 2 ~ 1.4 GB and 200 writes per day

Database 3 ~ 35-120 GB (depending on location) and 70,000 writes / day (all application events and checks) (old entries are never changed so only the delta needs to be sent)

So how can I integrate 42 vendor databases into a single data warehouse? Is there a better approach than the data warehouse? Thank you in advance, and if anything is needed to provide a solution, please let me know.

Database Design – Why should you populate a temporary reporting table?

I manage an older accounting application that runs almost all reports by populating a temporary table at runtime. The temporary table is deleted daily and contains information about the configuration of the report (ie which terminal it has run, landscape or portrait, etc.). Is there a reason the application does this instead of selecting the configuration view in real time and retrieving the needed data from a custom view?

Some employees were promoted, some had left, some were recruited, some were deported while others remained in the same position. MJ wants to compare the reporting hierarchy from last year to today so he can see the changes in the company's employees.

• The reporting structure of ACME is at most five levels
