Reporting Services – The SSRS 2016 native mode can not connect to the SharePoint list data source

We use SP2016 with SQL 2016 Enterprise Edition. The SSRS feature is enabled in SQL Server and the service has started. I can browse the SSRS portal with http: // sqlserver / reports. In addition, I can connect to the report server in my SQL 2016 Report Builder: http: // sqlserver / ReportServer /

Then I set up my first data source in a report. Connection type is Microsoft SharePoint list, In the connection string field, I enter "". This URL can be searched correctly both on my PC and in SQL Server.

in the references I tried all possible combinations. I tried my personal account (this is site collection administrator) and SQL administrator and farm administrator, etc. All the results in error message

An error occurred while accessing the specified SharePoint list. The
Connection string may be invalid. Check the connection
String is correct.

I tried to upload the report to the SSRS web portal (http: // sqlserver / reports), and the error has also occurred.

May I know why that might be? Is there a patch specifically for this problem?

SQL Reporting Service – Stack Overflow in Spanish

Reports are already generated by using queries or SPs in SQL Server, and also generate the fields and variables all in a feature report

Does anyone know how the report service automatically generates the report with the fields by simply specifying the table?

That is, if I have a product reporting services table, I will report all the fields in that table. If I have another supplier table, I will do the same and so on

SQL Server – aggregate multiple COTS databases into a data warehouse or similar for reporting

I'm sure this is a very basic question, so I apologize, but I've read many articles and done a lot of Google searches and found no clues to the particular challenge I want to address. I appreciate any guidance that can be provided.

I have a corporate environment where multiple instances of a COTS application must be geographically distributed around the world. These applications use SQL Server Enterprise Editions 2008, 2012 and 2014 (different versions of the COTS software) and must remain in their geographic isolation. I've created an SSRS server to give customers access to their specific geographically isolated COTS database data. However, demand has increased as users set up a data warehouse for SSRS data so we do not risk compromising our production systems. In addition, my team wants to be able to aggregate the data for some company reports.
I've read some information about data warehousing, but I can not seem to find a solution to transfer 14 different instances of a single COTS application to a single SQL server for reporting. Ideally, we would like to track the changes as well. The 3 databases per COTS instance are all named the same regardless of the version. Two of the databases are relatively static (possibly 200 updates per day), but one is very active (over 70,000 writes per day). The solution does not have to be in real time, but to provide at least a daily load.

Database 1 ~ 600 MB and 200 writes per day

Database 2 ~ 1.4 GB and 200 writes per day

Database 3 ~ 35-120 GB (depending on location) and 70,000 writes / day (all application events and checks) (old entries are never changed so only the delta needs to be sent)

So how can I integrate 42 vendor databases into a single data warehouse? Is there a better approach than the data warehouse? Thank you in advance, and if anything is needed to provide a solution, please let me know.

Database Design – Why should you populate a temporary reporting table?

I manage an older accounting application that runs almost all reports by populating a temporary table at runtime. The temporary table is deleted daily and contains information about the configuration of the report (ie which terminal it has run, landscape or portrait, etc.). Is there a reason the application does this instead of selecting the configuration view in real time and retrieving the needed data from a custom view?

Usability – Is there a document or material that I can use to understand the reporting hierarchy within the organization?

I'm designing a platform for the CEO to compare the reporting hierarchy from last year to today so he can see the changes in the company's employees.

Here is the use case ..

MJ is CEO at ACME. ACME has recently made massive changes to its internal organizational structure. Some employees were promoted, some had left, some were recruited, some were deported while others remained in the same position. MJ wants to compare the reporting hierarchy from last year to today so he can see the changes in the company's employees.

acceptance criterion
• Side by side comparison view of the two hierarchies for easy comparison.
• Allow the user to quickly see the changes between the two hierarchies: promotions,
Resignation, new hires.
• Allow the user to search for an employee and view their location in both hierarchies.

Nonfunctional requirements
• ACME currently has more than 2,000 employees
• The reporting structure of ACME is at most five levels

Please let me know if there is a similar concept in the industry or if you can help me with your thoughts.

SQL Server – How do I use the SQL (SSRS) Reporting Services in Angular 7?

How can data from an SSR report be consumed from the perspective? I'm a frontend developer (beginner) and they recently asked me the previous question, I do not want to keep the doubt.

There is a dependency on Ghithub that does not seem to work:

and has certain limitations, such as authentication and that is not certain.

In several forums it is said that it is not appropriate to use SQL, but that you must use the REST API for the use of services (Nde.js, mongoDB, etc.).

I also researched and found this link:

Reporting Services with REST API.

The available API of ssrs

There is so much information that I do not know how to start. If there is someone who can guide me, I would appreciate it.
