ansible – Make a list of servers and submit this list to work with my actual playbook?

I have a playable game book as shown below, and it works fine most of the time. But lately I'm stuck on some servers EVERYTHING Group and just sit there. It is not even forwarded to other servers in the database EVERYTHING List.

# This copies files
---
- Host: ALL
serial: "{{num_serial}}"
Tasks:
- Name: Copy files
shell: "(ssh -o StrictHostKeyChecking = no abc.com & ls -1 / var / lib / jenkins / workspace / copy / stuff / * & # 39; parallel -j20 & # 39; scp -o StrictHostKeyChecking = no abc.com: {} / data / records / & # 39;) "

- Name: sleep 5 sec
Pause: seconds = 5

When I started debugging, I noticed that it gets stuck on the actual server – I'm fine with ssh (logging in) but when I'm running ps Command, it just hangs and I can not get my cursor back, which means that Ansible will not work anymore if it's run over the scp command on that server.

So my question is, even if I have a server in this state, why not Ansible runs out and switches to another server. Is there anything we can do here so that Ansible does not stop and just wait for the server to answer?

Note Server is up and running and I can ssh fine, but when we run ps command it depends only and therefore ansible depends.

Is there a way to execute this command ps aux | grep app on all servers in EVERYTHING Group and create a list of all the servers that executed this command (and if one server hangs, times out and switches to another server in the ALL list) and then redirects that list to my previous playable playbook to work? Can we do all this in a playbook?

Cookies – Are subdomains safe from each other if they are on separate servers?

I am writing an application (example.com) users have their own subdomains to run any user applications from (user.example.com).

Each user application runs on separate servers with different domains, and my application is routed user.example.com to users-app.com,

Can my users endanger each other? What about the parent domain? example.com?

I have these 2 dedicated servers – should I upgrade? What should I pay for?

Therefore I have the following 2 dedicated servers (below) and I have used my current hosting company for many years. The hosting company is fine and I had no major issues with their service. I have not been looking for servers for many years because, as you know, it's hard to switch hosting companies, and if you find a good company, you do not want to move. Anyway, I have a few questions:

  • What should I pay for these servers? (I'm sure I'll pay too much because I've had these servers for years and paid the original price.)
  • I am looking for more speed, should I upgrade?

postfix – Merges ~ / Maildir between two servers using system accounts

I looked at the following and found no solution to my problem:

Migration from an IMAP / POP3 server to Dovecot

Creating Dovecot Master users and passwords does not work

Move Maildir safely to the running server

Synchronization between two mail servers

I have server A, which was set up with Postfix / Dovecot and uses the ~ / Maildir format in a system user account (ie no virtual users). I also have server B configured in the same way and may or may not contain emails in ~ / Maildir.

If ~ / Maildir does not exist for a user on Server B, I can assume that I can only synchronize Server A ~ / Maildir with Server B ~ / Maildir and preserve folders, read emails, and other metadata. etc.

If ~ / Maildir exists on both servers with each existing email, how can I safely merge the data from server A into ~ / maildir on server B? Basically, the data files themselves should be unique, and they should only be the Dovecot metadata files that exist on both servers.

I've searched here, but this is a generic step, and I think since the server configuration is similar, if not identical, my scenario should be a lot simpler:

https://wiki2.dovecot.org/Migration/Dsync

The latter makes it seem trivial and greatly simplified given the content of other questions. I'm not sure if this is for virtual users or system users.

Networking – Access to IIS Web servers from the public is not possible

For 4 days I'm trying to get my IIS web server up and running! I can internally through the internal static IP 192. ###. #. Access the website from various devices on the network. I have set up a setup port forwarding on my Verizon router to forward all incoming requests from the external public to the internal port 80 on the Windows 10 desktop where my IIS server resides. I have completely disabled all firewall settings and antivirus applications / processes under Windows 10. Even though all these doors have been opened, I can still access the website every time using the URL http: // public-ip-address: port # I have received the message "This page can not be reached". I have tried it both with the IE and with the Chrome browser. But none of them works. In public, I have no problem accessing other web servers connected to the same Verizon router used to send and receive communications over port 80. So there is either a problem with Windows 10 or the setup of my IIS server. It may also be that the router has problems with forwarding the port. I only advise. I dont know. It has been 4 days and countless hours, but I still can not find any clue why this is happening. Could someone help me who has undergone a similar situation ?! Thanks for all your help!

Looking for cheap but reliable dedicated servers for my gaming website

Hello everyone,

It's been years since I'm here, and I'm glad to be back. So I have a gaming website where leaderboards will be created and which will also be a player database as well as a place for reviews. The videos are hosted by YouTube but are pretty picture heavy. I am currently using a shared option, but if the CDN and its optimization are enabled, the CPU usage on the shared host will be red.

So I need something with decent CPU and speed, above all – so no suggestions. Since this is a new site, the budget is not that high for the time being, but it has to be better than a shared one!

Thank you all in advance.
