composer – Trouble with updating drupal core 8.9 to 9.2

We are in the process of migrating to Drupal 9, and I am having nothing but problems with composer and trying to get Drupal core updated.

I have provided my composer.json file, and a HUGE list of errors it’s spitting out at me, and I have absolutely no idea how to fix it.

The command I have been running is composer update

Is there anybody that can assist me with this?

Please and thank you.

zfsonlinux – .zfs folder’s missing, but snapshots are still there and mountable (inode trouble?)

$ sudo zfs list -t snapshot | grep childDataset3

a whole bunch are listed as expected (e.g. pool/dataset/childDataset3@today)

$ ls /pool/dataset/childDataset3/.zfs
ls: cannot access '/pool/dataset/childDataset3/.zfs': No such file or directory

I have other child datasets, and I can see the snapshot dir inside .zfs for them; and, I can even mount a snapshot from the above list from the one troublesome dataset (so they exist, just not as a nice list in a normal spot that users can dip into):

$ sudo mkdir /mnt/tempShadow
$ sudo mount -t zfs pool/dataset/childDataset3@today /mnt/tempShadow

i.e. I can browse one snapshot of files this way; also noteworthy, when I run the disk filesystems command with show inodes, all of the working datasets and child datasets show up EXCEPT for the one I’m having trouble with (what I’m calling “childDataset3”):

$ df -i

so is there a way to re-create the child dataset’s inode? (forgive me if I’m totally saying that wrong)

using zfs version 0.7.12-2+deb10u2 if that matters

my backup solution is to switch users to the replicated dataset (on another server), and then destroy this dataset, then send a snapshot back (but I want to avoid this, because 32TB doesn’t just pop over)

adb – I’m having trouble identifying the SD Card on OnePlus Nord 200 5G for partition and format

I recently got myself a OnePlus Nord 200 5G running Android 11 and I’m trying to format my SD card. The problem is that I can’t identify the card in ADB shell. From the shell:

OnePlusN200TMO:/ $ sm list-disks
disk:179,0
OnePlusN200TMO:/ $ sm list-volumes all
emulated:179,2;0 unmounted null
private mounted null
private:179,2 mounted a0104c1c-c041-4496-9c7d-aa584d166a71
emulated;0 mounted null

So is the 179,0 the internal and 179,2 the SD? If so, and I want to format like half or 2/3 as internal and the remaining as external (256 GB SD) how would I do that? I’m being extra careful because I have seen posts that bricked the phone.

20.04 – VPN trouble on wifi network change

I have a weird problem with my VPN(l2tp/IPSec) recently, at first that i added the VPN there was no problem but when i changed my wifi connection (came home from work!) the blocked sites that i visited in my previous network weren’t responding any more, everything else works fine for example i tried a blocked website that i have never visited and it works fine.
i tried cleaning my dns cache but no result + tried ping no result
tried deleting VPN connection and adding it after i joined the network worked at first but not anymore (im a software engineer i know its weird but it happened)
i tried other vpn protocols(open vpn, cisco) and all of them have this problem.
i use 20.04 version

noncommutative geometry – Trouble verifying covariance of differential calculus of the two dimensional quantum plane

I’m looking at page 4 and 5 of https://arxiv.org/pdf/math-ph/0105002.pdf. I am wanting to use (14) and (17) to verify the covariance of (14). But I’m having trouble, in particular, I’m having trouble
proving $frac{partial}{partial X’} Y’ = q Y’ frac{partial}{partial X’}$. Here is what I have calculated:

begin{align}
frac{partial}{partial X’} Y’ & = left( D frac{partial}{partial X} – q C frac{partial}{partial Y} right)(C X + DY)
\
& = DC frac{partial}{partial X} X + D^2 frac{partial}{partial X} Y – q C^2 frac{partial}{partial Y} X – q CD frac{partial}{partial Y} Y
\
& = DC left( q^2 X frac{partial}{partial X} + 1 + (q^2 – 1) Y frac{partial}{partial Y} right) + q D^2 Y frac{partial}{partial X} – q^2 C^2 X frac{partial}{partial Y} – q CD left( 1 + q^2 Y frac{partial}{partial Y} right)
\
& = q CD X frac{partial}{partial X} – q^2 C^2 X frac{partial}{partial Y} + q D^2 Y frac{partial}{partial X} + DC left( 1 + (q^2 – 1) Y frac{partial}{partial Y} – q^2 – q^4 Y frac{partial}{partial Y} right)
end{align}

This doesn’t seem to match $q Y’ frac{partial}{partial X’}$:

begin{align}
q Y’ frac{partial}{partial X’} & = q (CX + DY) left( D frac{partial}{partial X} – q C frac{partial}{partial Y} right)
\
& = q CD X frac{partial}{partial X} – q^2 C^2 X frac{partial}{partial Y} + q D^2 Y frac{partial}{partial X} frac{partial}{partial X} – q^2 DC Y frac{partial}{partial Y}
end{align}

Where have I gone wrong?

typescript – Having trouble with this Koan – solved it, but I don’t think what I wrote is correct in regards to Typing

I’m working through these Koans: https://github.com/paytonrules/typescript.koans#readme

I’m on file 3, collections, the very first function foreach:

export interface Dictionary<T> {
  (index: string): T;
}

interface ArrayForEachIteratee<T> {
  (value?: T, index?: number, collection?: Array<T>): any;
}

interface DictionaryForEachIteratee<T> {
  (value?: T, key?: string, collection?: Dictionary<T>): any;
}

/**
 * ### forEach
 * should iterate over all items of array or all properties of an object
 *
 * ## Examples
 *
 *  let collection = ("first", "second", "third");
 *  let result = ();
 *  let iteratee = (value, index, collection) => result(index) = (index, value);
 *
 *  _.forEach(collection, iteratee); => result === ((0, 'first'), (1, 'second'), (2, 'thidrd'));
 *
 *  collection = {
 *    "0": "first",
 *    "1": "second",
 *    "2": "third"
 *  };
 *  result = ();
 *  iteratee = (value, index, collection) => result(index) = (index, value);
 *
 *  _.forEach(collection, iteratee); => result === (('0', 'first'), ('1', 'second'), ('2', 'thidrd'));
 *
 */
export function forEach() {
}

When I look at the test code, I can see that the first test sends it an array and a function, and the second test sends it a dictionary and a function:

describe("forEach", function () {
    context("when collection is an array", function () {
      it("should iterate over all items of array", function () {
        const collection = ("first", "second", "third");
        const iteratee = sinon.spy();
        _.forEach(collection, iteratee);
        sinon.assert.calledWithExactly(iteratee, "first", 0, collection);
        sinon.assert.calledWithExactly(iteratee, "second", 1, collection);
        sinon.assert.calledWithExactly(iteratee, "third", 2, collection);
      });
    });

    context("when collection is an object", function () {
      it("should iterate over all items of object", function () {
        const collection: _.Dictionary<string> = {
          "0": "first",
          "1": "second",
          "2": "third"
        };
        const iteratee = sinon.spy();
        _.forEach(collection, iteratee);
        sinon.assert.calledWithExactly(iteratee, "first", "0", collection);
        sinon.assert.calledWithExactly(iteratee, "second", "1", collection);
        sinon.assert.calledWithExactly(iteratee, "third", "2", collection);
      });
    });
  });

So I set up my code to accept an array or a dictionary, and the corresponding array / dictionary callback for the second argument:

export function forEach<T>(collection: Array<T> | Dictionary<T>, iteratee: ArrayForEachIteratee<T> | DictionaryForEachIteratee<T>): void {
  if (Array.isArray(collection)) {
    collection.forEach(iteratee);
  } else {
    Object.keys(collection)
        .forEach(key => {
          const value = collection(key);
          iteratee(value, key, collection);
        });
  }
}

My code passes the tests – I’m passing the right arguments to the right functions in the right ways – but I’m absolutely certain that I’m not doing it in the proper Typescript-y type-safe way. My editor is showing me lots of red.

Can I get some pointers on how an expert typescripter would gracefully handle this situation?

shaders – I’m having trouble making a paint trail effect in ShaderGraph. What am I doing wrong? Are there other ways of doing this?

Link to what I have so far: https://i.imgur.com/UzFUtrT.gif

Link to ShaderGraph of the original render texture: https://i.imgur.com/orlufI0.png
Link to ShaderGraph of the output render texture: https://i.imgur.com/nUfYFu2.png

I’m trying to make the quad on the right leave a trail of cyan when the circle moves. Both squares use different materials.

I’ve tried using Graphics.Blit to draw the current texture onto a new one but it doesn’t create any painting effect (code: https://hatebin.com/rlmjuzilmn).

The only progress I’ve gotten is from creating a RenderTexture and using SetPixel in a C# script but its very inefficient and slows down my computer too much: https://i.imgur.com/9617OYQ.gif

I’ve been going about this for weeks. What am I doing wrong? What are the other options I have?

I would like to avoid writing shader code if possible. I’m looking for relatively simple and easy to understand solutions.
