website design – Responsive deisgn on Android and iPad tablets – columns issue

I designed a webpage in WordPress using elementor. Home page contains full width image on the top and 2 columns below (also full width).
Both columns are set to custom width 50% in tablet mode.

When page is displayed in iPad (Safari), columns are placed nicely side by die, but Samsung (firefox) tablet put those columns one on the top of other.

How is this possible? Is this issue has something to do with OS or browser?

I want to have those 2 columns be side by side in Samsung tablet.

Would anyone explain me why is this happening.
